WASHINGTON, D.C. (WPVI) -- Several protesters were arrested at Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey's office in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

They were there to voice their opposition to the Senate Republicans' health care plan.

Toomey helped author the bill.

He said on Tuesday the bill was "Not perfect, but a positive step."

Also Wednesday, President Donald Trump said the bill was "moving along well" and vowed there would be a "great, great surprise."

The president made the comments while hosting the Chicago Cubs in recognition of the team's World Series win.

They come one day after Republican leaders in the Senate pulled their bill, which didn't have the votes to pass.
