Tim Kaine speaks with 6abc about VP debate
Hillary Clinton's running mate Tim Kaine made a stop in South Philadelphia Wednesday and it appears he's still flying high from the previous night's vice presidential debate.
Kaine addressed a crowd of supporters at the Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall on Columbus Boulevard
He talked about creating jobs and achieving equality, but he also threw jabs at Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence, calling Trump "a pretty scary guy".
Action News anchor Sharrie Williams spoke with Senator Kaine one on one and asked him about his demeanor during the debate and why he interrupted Pence dozens of times.
"There's just so many things that Donald Trump has said and done that I think are indefensible and I wanted to ask Governor Pence over and over again how can you defend this and I wanted to see how he responded. And he responded and he responded about the same way every time which is I want to talk about something else," Kaine said.

Meanwhile, Republican Mike Pence faced supporters in Harrisonburg, Virginia, clearly delighted with what many pundits thought was his victory last night over Tim Kaine.
But some of those same pundits are saying that Pence's calm and composed performance Tuesday night was a reminder of Donald Trump's lack of composure in his first debate against Hillary Clinton.
Some Clinton officials wondered if Pence cared more about November 8th or 2020.
In Nevada Wednesday, Trump congratulated Pence, calling it the most decisive victory in any vice presidential debate ever and he also claimed much of the credit for himself saying Pence was his first hire.
Of course, Trump has a chance to even the debating score with Clinton Sunday night in St. Louis.
