50 percent discount at 10 Philadelphia garages, 1 lot during papal visit

PHILADELPHIA -- 10 Philadelphia parking garages and a lot near the Philadelphia International Airport will offer a 50% discount during the weekend of the papal visit.

The Philadelphia Parking Association, a group of privately run operators, released the list Wednesday.

The offer is available to both city residents and visitors.

The discount is off the regular 24-hour weekend parking rate, and is available from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th.

The participating locations will have signage at their entrances advertising the discount, the Association said.
