PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- As police continue to search for a killer, family and friends marched through Port Richmond demanding justice for a mother who was gunned down with her sleeping daughter nearby.

With heavy hearts, marchers rallied demanding justice for Stephanie Dzikowski.

The 22-year-old was gunned down in her home on the 3000 block of Aramingo Avenue last week.

"I know she's looking down on us and smiling to get justice for her," said Ryan Dzikowski, victim's brother.

More than 100 family and friends wore shirts with Dzikowski's picture and carried signs through the very streets where she grew up.

Police said they don't think it was a random home invasion but a close family friend can't imagine who would want to hurt the loving young mother.

"She didn't have any enemies, got along with everyone. She has a magnetic personality, you're drawn to her the minute you meet her," said Marie Larkin, neighbor.

Police obtained surveillance video which may show the killer running down Aramingo Avenue.

Marchers walked the same path to send a message.

Dzikowski's boyfriend, the father of her daughter, plead for someone to tell police what they know.

"She's going to have to grow up knowing that. No child in the world deserves to go through what she's going through, no child," said Sean Sadowniczak.

"We need answers please. This baby has to grow up without a mother now," said Jorge Cintron, victim's relative.

"It's actually for everybody because this person's still on the street. Nobody's safe right now," said Larkin.

Police have not released much information regarding their investigation.

As with all Philadelphia homicides, a $20,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia Police at 215-686-TIPS (8477), by texting a tip to PPDTIP (773847) or online at www.phillypolice.com.
