Man shot multiple times in Port Richmond

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A man in his 20s was shot several times in Philadelphia's Port Richmond section early Tuesday morning.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Cambria Street.

The victim was shot in the chest and legs.

Police rushed him to the hospital in critical condition.

Eight shell casings were found at the scene.

Police also recovered a gun.

Investigators are checking area surveillance cameras.
