Officials: Delaware County man posed as contractor

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Delaware County man faces several charges for allegedly scamming Drexel Hill homeowners out of thousands of dollars.

Investigators say 39-year-old Vincent Cottrell was posing as a contractor when he took more than $52,000 for a construction project that he never started.

Cottrell is also facing identity theft and theft by deception charges for allegedly taking control of another contractor's website to install his own contact information.
