Planned candid photos are the latest Instagram trend

If you've ever scrolled through Instagram and looked at someone's "candid" pictures wondering - is the paparazzi following my friends around snapping perfectly framed and composed shots?

You've just "liked" the latest trend.

They're called "plandids" - Candids that are planned.

There's even a trending hashtag! Apparently the idea is create a sense of authenticity, but staged, nonetheless in what's being called Instagram's new humblebrag.
