Woman injured in vehicle crash in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a woman was seriously injured in a vehicle crash in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened before 10 p.m. Tuesday at 63rd Street and Woodland Avenue.

According to police, the victim believed to be in her mid-40s lost control of her vehicle that flipped over.

She was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
