Man shot multiple times in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a man was shot multiple times in Pottstown.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on North Evans Street near Lesher Alley.

The victim was taken by private auto to Pottstown Memorial Hospital. No word on his condition.

Police have not said what led up the shooting.
