Pennsylvania inmate recaptured after being mistakenly released

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Federal authorities have recaptured a prison inmate who was freed by mistake.

US marshals caught up with 24-year-old Tyreek Wood in Center City Philadelphia when he arrived on a Greyhound bus at 10th and Filbert Streets.

Officials say he was accidentally released from prison in Shamokin, Nurthumberland County.

So far there has been no word on what caused the mistake.
