Parish of Saint William in Lawncrest celebrates Centennial

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Parish of Saint William in Philadelphia's Lawncrest section celebrated its Centennial.

The special mass celebrated the many cultures that have worshiped at the church for the past one hundred years.

Archbishop Charles Chaput served as the special celebrant for the mass.

The Parish was founded on January 19, 1920 by Reverend William Motley.
