UPLAND BOROUGH, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Upland Borough Police Department in Delaware County has a new dog.



And the police department is extending an invitation for the community to come out and meet her.



"Halo" is a rescue dog that was recently adopted by the department.



Police said Halo will help officers build bonds and trust in the community.



Officers encourage people to stop by the department to say hello to Halo.
