ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Crews are working to repair a sewage leak at Bader Field in Atlantic City.

Work is underway to replace a 40-year-old pipe that broke sometime over the weekend.

At one point, it was spewing sewage on the old airport grounds and into the surrounding bodies of water.

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority called in an emergency contractor, and promises to work around the clock to fix the issue.

People in Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, and Longport are being asked to conserve water so less of it is flowing through the damaged line.
