Saving Lucy the Elephant from development

MARGATE, N.J. (WPVI) -- It was a packed house at Margate City hall Thursday night.

Residents came to voice their concerns about a proposal that would allow high-rise development near Lucy the Elephant.

They also fear a changing skyline and Margate losing its small-town charm.

Residents said they haven't had enough input on the change.

Commissioners tabled the ordinance indefinitely.
