Tractor-trailer accident on Route 73 in Maple Shade

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Burlington County authorities are investigating an accident involving a tractor-trailer on Route 73 in Maple Shade.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on northbound Route 73 and North Stiles Avenue.

Officials say a trailer broke off from the cab, hit a pole, and knocked the pole and wires all over the northbound lanes.

No injuries were reported.

The accident shut down Route 73 northbound for some time.

Police are investigating.
