School bus crash in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police and firefighters responded to the scene of a crash involving a school bus in Chester, Delaware County.

The collision happened shortly before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 2nd Street and Lloyd Street.

It was there that a van rear-ended a school bus.

There are no details on injuries to the driver of the van, who was extricated from the vehicle after about 20 minutes, then transported to Crozer Chester Hospital.

Police say there were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Authorities are investigating what may have led to the crash.
