FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- SEPTA police are investigating after a 13-year-old girl was injured in a stabbing at the Frankford Transportation Center.

Police were called to the 5200 block of Frankford Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say the girl was stabbed in a hallway connecting the eastbound side of the terminally to the westbound side.

After the stabbing occurred, she ran into the bathroom.

The girl was cut in the hand.

Officials say the incident appears to have been the result of a fight with another juvenile, not a random attack.

She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for nonlife-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
