SEPTA officials are investigating at fatal crash in Haverford, Twp., Pa.

HAVERFORD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A deadly crash involving a pedestrian shutdown a SETPA train line in Delaware County.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Township Line Station on Township Line Road and Grove Place in Haverford Township.

Police tell Action News that the victim was struck and killed by a train heading to the 69th Street Station.

Images from the Action Cam shown live on Action News showed several Delaware County and SEPTA officials on the scene.

The Norristown High Speed Line was closed as police investigated the crash.

SEPTA ran shuttle buses between the 69th Street Terminal and the Township Line Road Station while crews gathered evidence at the scene.

Train service resumed just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say this may have been a suicide.

An investigation is underway.
