SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police in Southwest Philadelphia are trying to find out who stole a vehicle that belonged to a SEPTA supervisor.

Police say someone left a U-Haul parked in the way of the Route 36 Trolley in the 5300 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.

When the SEPTA supervisor arrived on the scene, he left his Ford Escape to speak with the trolley operator and neighbors.

During that time, someone hopped into his vehicle and drove off.

The SUV was later recovered by Philadelphia Police at 55th and Wheeler Street.
