GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- A former school aide at Glen Landing Middle school in Gloucester Township is accused of sexually assaulting a former student.

Prosecutors say 41-year-old Jennifer Pasquarello allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct on several occasions between November 2013 and May 2015.

Authorities say the victim was just 14 at the time.

Parents whose children currently attend the school are outraged.

"It is just disgusting. I can't imagine. I don't know. I'm just glad my children are almost done," parent Wendy Dinardo said.

Police didn't say where, but confirm the alleged crimes happened off school property.

Some are now wondering if there's any place safe for their kids.

"I don't know how much more the schools can do. They have locks on the door," grandparent Ginger Saurman said.

Sources tell Action News, the suspect lives not far from the school in a neighborhood on Roberts Drive. Most recently she was working for Ann Mullen Middle School.

Gloucester Township Public Schools released a statement that says in part, it "is saddened and disappointed by the allegations of misconduct. Upon notification of the allegations, the district terminated the aide."

Pasquarello faces two counts of aggravated criminal sexual contact and single counts of aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment.

Bail was set at $300,000.
