Kitty Junction saves cats from all across the Delaware Valley.
The winning rescue group started in October 2013.
Co-Founder, Brenda Torrisi says, "Most of our rescues come from bad areas of the city."
Co-Founders Brenda Torrisi and Libby Hess met through the trap neuter return work they did at local cat colones.
"While we were doing it we discovered that many of the cats were friendly, and we decided to start the group to re-home them," said Hess.
Since starting their rescue, they have found new homes for nearly 200 cats and thanks to partners like Pet Valu, where they house some of their cats, their adoption rates have gotten better.
Torrisi says, "Here people get to see their personalities and interact with them which really helps. We've had 100 percent adoption rates with our cat that have been here."
