A cat with a serious disability finds a happy home.

SALEM CO., N.J. (WPVI) -- Rumbler is a 10-year-old cat whose vision is so limited, he can only see light and dark.

His owner, Lynnette says, "He sees about 10 percent of what a normal cat can see. We don't even know why he's blind."

Rumbler was at the Salem County Humane Society for five years before he found Lynnette.

"I knew he was blind and I thought he's going to be there a long time so I brought him home. And, it's been nothing but a blessing," said Lynnette.

The two are a perfect match.

"He's made me pretty happy and it looks like I make him pretty happy too," adds Lynnette.

Connie Waller is Vice President of the Salem County Humane Society.

She says, "It's just really very rewarding when they get homes like that."

The Humane Society has been in business for nearly 40 years. It's a no kill shelter that has already made more than 150 adoptions this year.

"We do vet checks, we do house checks to make sure that they do go in to the right homes. And, it's like our animals, so we're real careful where they go," said Connie.

There are several other animals in the video that are looking for their perfect match.
