Sheriff's deputy involved in crash in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A sheriff's deputy is recovering after a crash that also injured another driver in North Philadelphia.

Police say the deputy's unmarked vehicle was hit by another car on the 2300 block of North Woodstock Street around midnight Wednesday.

The deputy did not need medical attention.

The other driver suffered a head injury and was transported to the hospital.
