Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that has left a 25-year-old man wounded in Point Breeze.

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- A 25-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.



It happened at 11:48 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Tasker Street.



Images from Chopper 6 HD broadcast on Action News at noon showed several police units on the scene.



Sources tell Action News the victim was hit twice, once in the leg and once in the arm.



Medics took him to Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.



Police were searching for a white Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Impala with a license plate that includes the letters JMR.



So far there have been no arrests.
