Shooting leaves 1 dead, two injured in Chester: Police

CHESTER, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Chester police are investigating a shooting Friday that left one dead and at least two others wounded.

Police were called to the 2900 block of West Third Street around 6:25 p.m.

Officers arrived to find a victim on the sidewalk near a property on the 2900 block of Mary Street.

He was rushed to Crozer Chester Medical Center, but later died from his injuries

Meanwhile, police learned of two additional shooting victims who arrived at Crozer, including one with a gunshot wound to his torso and another with a gunshot wound to his right leg. Both are recovering.
