Teen injured in shooting near North Philadelphia playground

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 15-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Friday night in North Philadelphia, police said.

The shots were fired just before 7 p.m. near 8th and Poplar streets, near a basketball court.

Police said the teenager was hit in the left shoulder, and taken by officers to Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
