A 14-year-old was shot in the buttocks in South Philadelphia, police said.

PHILADELPHIA -- A 14-year-old was shot in South Philadelphia on Friday afternoon, police said.

Police said the shooting happened in the 2600 block of South Jessup Street at about 3 p.m.

The teen was shot once in the left buttocks and was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made.
