HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A 24-year-old man made it to a friend's house in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia after being shot, only to die a short time later.

Police aren't sure where the gunfire erupted, but the victim ran to the corner of North Marshall and West Pike streets.

Officers arrived at 3:23 a.m. Thursday to find the man, who had been shot in the chest.

Medics took the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:10 a.m.

No arrests have been made.
