Hands free stroller aims to make parents lives easier
Hands free stroller aims to make parents lives easier: Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30pm on October 12, 2017.

NEW YORK (WPVI) -- There are all kinds of gadgets meant to try to make life easier for parents and this latest one is being met with both cheers and raised eyebrows.

It's called the Smartbe and it's billed as the first intelligent, hands free stroller.

The motion tracking on this battery-powered electric stroller is linked to your smartphone and it follows your every move.

It also has a webcam, a bottle warmer, baby rocker, a wireless speaker and other upgrades.

The New York City startup behind it says it meets all safety standards, assuring users that sensors guide it around obstacles and smart stop technology is used to slow and brake the stroller automatically.

Depending on the bells and whistles, the price can go up to $2,700.

No pushing required.
