Secret Santa pays off $79,000 in Walmart layaways

A secret Santa made a lot of wishes come true at a Harrisburg Walmart after paying off layaways worth tens of thousands of dollars.

People were stunned to find that a very generous and anonymous donor had paid off their Christmas layaways for them.

It came just in the nick of time for some customers.

"I started crying right away on the phone, I was going to cancel my layaway," Tracy Folks of Harrisburg said.

The layaways totaled $79,000.

Management at the Walmart says the man that they refer to as "Santa B" came in and paid the eye-popping amount out of his own pocket.

He insisted that the money go to all of the holiday layaways.
