PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If you're a stay-at-home parent, there are some easy ways you can make a little extra cash from home while the kiddos are napping.

Let's start with the baby gear. If you have items your kids have outgrown or items that are taking up space, you can rent it and collect cash!

There's also an app called goBaby and it's a lifesaver for two kinds of parents: the traveling ones who don't want to lug the essential baby stuff and the moms and dads who can make money renting out idle baby necessities. It's kind of like an Airbnb for baby gear.

If you just want to unload the baby stuff forever, jump into the very hot and lucrative resale market.

There are so many apps where you can sell just about anything, from that baby gear to their outgrown clothes and shoes, to the things you aren't wearing and even your old maternity clothes.

Kidizen is just for kids items, but you are responsible for paying for the shipping.

Poshmark is a marketplace for all and here the buyer pays the shipping.

Both apps take a percentage of your sales, but you can post and upload right from your phone when the kids go to bed.

Finally, if you like to write you know mommy and daddy blogs are on fire right now.

Some of them will pay for your wit, wisdom and parenting experience.

Our friends at the Penny Hoarder rounded up a list of sites that pay.
