What's the Deal: Toy organization hacks
If you have kids chances are you have some clutter, especially with toys. Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on May 3, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If you have kids chances are you have some clutter, especially with toys.

The pretty genius mamas at What's Up Moms have rounded up some toy organization hacks that will have all playthings "in their place" quicker than you can lock two Legos.

First: the barbie brigade.

If you have one too many gals stacked up in a box or a bin or dangling from a Dream House, you can keep them tidy and upright in one of those behind-the-door shoe organizers.

Toy cars usually end up under your feet somewhere, so to save yourself some pain they suggest using a picture ledge to create a "garage."

For the teeny, tiny, critical little locking Lego pieces, What's Up Moms says you can organize and store them in an old tool box.

If your princess has many, many gowns, crowns and the whole royal regalia - how about a rolling suitcase? Everything is neatly contained and they can take the dress up show on the road.

If you have a lot of containers of Play-Doh rolling around, try a coffee pod carousel.

To the play kitchen - make imaginary meals easier and more organized using a clear plastic spice rack.

For board games, use a closet organizer to stack them so you can see them!

And finally, for puzzles, instead of getting stuck with stacks of bulky boxes, put pieces and the puzzle image in pencil bags.
