Shots fired during robbery attempt in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A security guard came under fire overnight in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say the shots were fired around 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of McKinley Street.

Officers on patrol heard the shots, rushed the scene and chased down two suspects, who were later questioned.

The security guard was not hurt.

Police believe this was an attempted robbery.
