A day trip to Lancaster County, promises to be a day of summer fun.

"We want everyone to discover everything there is in Lancaster," says Joel Cliff, Director of Communications at Discover Lancaster.

If you want to see Lancaster County and get your blood pumping, Intercourse Bike Works has rentals and guided tours geared for you.

The experience is so unique and owner Rebecca Branle of Intercourse Bike Works says, "Well there's definitely a cultural difference here so we try to tailor the routes around seeing things you won't see anywhere else."

On the tour de Lancaster, there's plenty to see on the 8-mile route.

People can come here and get a little bit of a Lancaster experience.

"Absolutely and everything changes when you're on a bike and you're going slower. It's good to just slow down and take in the view a little bit," says Branle.

And it's really beautiful to see.

The perfect end to your tour is some homemade ice cream at the Lapp Valley Farm.

All the ice cream is made on site. Tours end with ice cream or dinner with an Amish Family.

"When folks come into our visitor's center I've got three or four hours what do you suggest, when we get done with them they realize they need three or four days," said Cliff.
