"One day at a time" Labor Day block party

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was a block party with awesome back to school gifts.

The group "One day at a time" held its annual Labor Day block party here in North Philadelphia.

Neighborhood families came to the 1600 and 1700 blocks of West York street for hot dogs, burgers and fixings.

Then 200 children got free backpacks full of supplies for the new school year.

One day at a time is an addiction recovery program.
