Bank of America donates to city murals

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia is getting ready to celebrate Mural Arts Month coming up in October.

Wednesday Bank of America donated 50-thousand dollars to the Mural Arts Program to get the ball rolling.

The Mural Arts organization also announced a new public art zone being created in South Philadelphia at Snyder Plaza.

Some talented artists are planning to transform the area with their work.
