Competition in the construction arts

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The tradesmen who shape our nation's buildings, boats, and bridges put their skills to the test Friday.

The Carpenter's Training Center in Northeast Philadelphia hosted a competition in five categories, including floor laying and cabinetry work.

The contestants were top scorers from the school's current apprenticeship training class.
