Conestoga community playground

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A stunning new playground years in the making is now a reality in West Philadelphia Thursday night.

Officials gathered at 5300 media street to cut the ribbon on the Conestoga community playground.

It has new play structures, benches made of salvaged locust trees and a lovely new mural.

The mural artists were there and thanked young people for their drawings which were incorporated into the final design.
