Dream trip to New York City for a local teen

CHRISTIANA, DELAWARE (WPVI) -- The Children's Miracle Network is making many dreams come true for one local teenager who has been through a lot.

17 year old Bryttani Gore was very surprised Friday when she was told about a whirlwind New York City adventure she is going on this weekend.

She and her family will travel to the city in a limo.

They're set to visit and shop at the American Girl store, see Matilda on Broadway and also get a special visit to the Statue of Liberty.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is also sponsoring the trip.

Bryttani has undergone several craniofacial surgeries at CHOP over the years and has more ahead, but through it all she remains resilient and optimistic.
