Emergency Community Water Assistance Grant

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Communities in Delaware will now have access to a better water supply.

Officials and politicians gathered Monday in New Castle at the historic Penn Farm to announce the changes.

The water will be cleaner, safer and more reliable for residents, all thanks to the Emergency Community Water Assistance Grant.

The emergency grant is only the second time in Delaware that this program has been utilized.
