Fire prevention and life savings lessons

ELKINS PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Abington Township Fire Department hosted an open house Tuesday night to teach members of the community some life saving skills.

Dozens gathered at the McKinley Fire Company in Elkins Park, Montgomery County.

Firefighters taught the public how to use a fire extinguisher.

The kids got to climb inside the fire trucks, and even got their own fire helmets.
