Firefighters to the rescue with coats

EAST LANSDOWNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Children from our area received some holiday cheer Tuesday and it arrived with the help of shiny red fire trucks.

The Upper Darby Fire department went on a call but this was a different type of call.

The firefighters arrived at St Cyril of Alexandria to deliver 100 coats.

The firefighters say their goal is make sure a child is never cold.

Smiles and excitement filled the room as children greeted the firefighters and received the new warm coats just in time for the colder days ahead.
