Funding Pre-K in Philadelphia

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A mission to give more children access to early education is picking up steam.

Tuesday House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney joined forces at the United Way in Center City.

They're looking for ways to fund universal Pre-K across the state and the country.

Philadelphia schools superintendent Doctor William Hite was part of the discussion.
