The final weeks of summer are approaching and now may be a great time to check out the new roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure.

It's called the El Diablo which is Spanish for the Devil.

El Diablo soars 7 stories high and is the 13th coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Kaitlyn Turi is the Public Relations Supervisor at Great Adventure.

She says, "You start out pendulum style so you're swinging back and forth and then you gain momentum and speed and you're actually going to wind up with quite a lot of hang time upside down."

It's designed to deliver high adrenaline disorientation high above the ground.

"It gives you that that stomach drop that you get on the first drop of every other coaster, pretty much every time you go back and forth," said Kaitlyn.

Six Flags is also home toKingda Ka,the tallest roller coaster in the world.

Kaitlyn says, "It launches you from zero to 120 miles an hour in three and a half seconds."

And if that isn't enough excitement, the tallest and fastest drop ride is right next door. It's ominously named Zoominjaro Drop of Doom.

"415 feet, about 30 seconds to the top and then 10 seconds down and 90 miles an hour," adds Kaitlyn.

Just thinking about the ride may make your heart beat a little faster.
