Golf as a teaching tool

BERWYN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Some local educators are using the game of golf as part of their lesson plan.

It's happening at Hillside Elementary in Berwyn.

Teachers say golf is a game of honesty, respect, and responsibility, and the students learn those skills as they learn how to play.

The school's golf unit just received a grant to enhance the program with new equipment custom fitted for the 1st graders.
