Great expectations at the Gorilla house

PHILADELPHIA ZOO (WPVI) -- One of Philadelphia zoo's most beloved animals is going to be a mother again.

The zoo announced Monday that 21 year old female gorilla Honi is pregnant and the baby is due in the fall.

The pregnancy was confirmed with an over-the-counter test like the ones used by humans.

An ultrasound confirms that the baby has a normal heartbeat and momma is doing great.

However, doctors say they will carefully monitor mom and baby.

Honi also has a 13 year old son.
