CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- SEPTA began using its new key cards, which will eventually replace the old system of tokens and paper tickets.
The key cards went on sale at 6 o'clock Monday morning.
Up to 10 thousand riders can buy weekly and monthly passes at 12 stations and the SEPTA sales office.
The passes work for subway lines, city and suburban bus routes, and trolleys.
Regional rail and Para-transit will be included later.
