Honoring those who improve our communities

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Urban League of Philadelphia took time to honor local leaders and companies Friday.

Awards were handed out to those who advocate for, and improve the condition of minority communities.

Today's annual Whitney M Young luncheon was held at the Loews hotel in Center City.

There were four different awards handed out, one of them acknowledged Mayor Michael Nutter for his eight years of service.
