Man sings for 106 straight hours, breaks world record. Nydia Han reports during Action News at 10 a.m. on April 7, 2019.

A man from the Dominican Republic has set a brand new world record -- for singing!

Forty-six-year-old Carlos Silver sang for 106 hours straight last week -- that's four and a half days!

It was his second attempt at breaking the record.

During the singing marathon, Silver sang more than 5,000 songs.

Afterward, he was admittedly a little hoarse as he thanked the fans who supported him.
