A Michigan mom buys coffee for two women behind her in line despite a verbal attack.
A few days ago Dianne Hoffmeyer walked into a Tim Horton's.
She wanted to buy her daughter some doughnut holes.
Two middle-aged women standing in line behind her, unprovoked, lobbed insults her way.
They talked about her hair and they called her a whale.
For Hoffmeyer the insults stung. She recently lost 177 pounds.
The women, complete strangers were unaware of her previous weight.
But what she did next is what is surprising.
She paid for their coffee.
She then turned around, walked out and went to her car, where she cried.
She posted her encounter on Facebook. It has since exploded worldwide.
